Always Run Visual Studio 2012 as Administrator in Windows 8

Are you on Windows 8?

Being annoyed always doing right click and "Run As Administrator" for Visual Studio and then Open Solution/Project?

Being annoyed when Solution Explorer displays Project Load Failed when you double click the Solution/Project file to open?

You can avoid all this!

You just need to specify that devenv.exe should always run as Administrator.

Follow these simple steps:
1. Right Click on "devenv.exe"
2. Click "Troubleshoot compatibility"
3. Click "Troubleshoot program"
4. Check "The program requires additional permissions"
5. Click "Next"
6. Click "Test the program...". It should launch Visual Studio as Administrator.
7. Click "Next"
8. Click "Yes, save these settings for this program"
9. Click "Close the troubleshooter"

Now the Visual Studio will always run as Administrator.
